You'd like to discuss English language novels, short stories, essays, poems, to share your impressions, report on your discoveries, debate their fine points, OR PERHAPS
You would love to go through a specific English language book together, chapter by chapter and engage it carefully and critically.
WHY ME?
- I've enjoyed English most of my life, whether studying, teaching or speaking it in various contexts, both private and public. I have MA degrees in English (American Literature and Culture) and Theological Studies (Interdisciplinary).
- I am a certified English teacher (English Philology; nauczyciel mianowany).
- I have taught English language courses at Teacher Training Colleges and tutored individuals and groups in American literature and culture, English composition, communicative skills, basics of translation studies, and more.
- I coordinated and co-led independent English language seminars in current affairs and have taught English to teenagers and adults.
- I lived and studied in Canada and earned one of my degrees from a Canadian institution.
- My interests in the humanities, social sciences and the arts are wide-ranging and I am curious about the many issues their disciplines tackle.
- I'm curious about my students' interests and I'm a patient teacher and a careful listener.
